(Spring)
The limestone glade:
An inchworm slinking
And sliding.
This verse was written by Sabishī, inspired by the inchworm found inching its way across the limestone floor of the glade, where this photo was taken. I was very surprised to see it slinking about on this cold, early spring morning…pleasantly surprised.
This is a photo of one of the glades at Flat Rock Glade, which is one of the many nature preserves maintained by the KY State Nature Preserves Commission.
