I enjoy "hiking" in the woods observing nature, especially the birds, butterflies, mushrooms, ferns, and wildflowers. The interactions among the forest life fascinate me! I enjoy turning my observations into hokku, as well as reading the hokku of others.

  1. An excellent winter hokku! Winter is almost over, according to ancient tradition and the hokku calendar. Spring begins at the beginning of February, and I’m looking forward to more light and warmth! Thank you for your winter transplant, Clive. I enjoy it very much!
