(Autumn)
At every house
A morning glory blooms;
The month of leaves.
August is the month of leaves. This verse, by Oshima Ryota, can be found here.
The photo, by Kai Leathers, was taken in August, in Asheville, NC. Click here to see more of Kai’s photos.
August 1st is the first day of Autumn, according to ancient tradition. The equinox is Mid-Autumn, the heart of Fall, and October 31st is the end of Autumn and the beginning of the cold, dark and gloomy time of the year. So, savor the light and the warmth of Autumn…for Winter is coming!
